The mission of FWRD7 is to elevate and enhance the events, outreach, and fundraising efforts of non-profits that serve marginalized people, resulting in a more engaged, energized, and empowered community.

At FWRD7, we are creating and implementing “full-experience”, impactful strategies to support the outreach, fundraising, and events of existing non-profits.

We strive to provide unique and thoughtful experiences through creative partnerships, uplifting events, and agile fundraising designed to capture attention; fuel inspiration, and grow passionate engagement and giving.

Our Partnerships

We work closely with a variety of community partners and engaged sponsors to ensure that we are meeting the growing needs of kids in our community. Our partnerships include charitable businesses, schools, local professional sports teams, municipalities, police departments, and other community organizations.

Why "7"? | Past, Present, Future

The name 'FWRD7' is inspired by the Native American philosophy of Seven Generations, which emphasizes making decisions that benefit individuals seven generations into the future. This principal guides FWRD7's mission to help non-profits create sustainable programs and events that extend their impact beyond the present, ensuring long-term enrichment for future generations.

FWRD7 is proud of the missions and goals of our partners and is dedicated to getting results worthy of the work they do in their communities. Our work shouldn’t only affect people for one night but should be done with the intention of honoring those before us and helping positively impact those after us.

We expand the reach and impact foundations can achieve using experienced knowledge and vast connections without increasing their long-term cost or stretching thin their existing resources

For Donors/Sponsors:

Meet FWRD7

Scott Strong - Founder

Christopher Watkins - Founder

Scott Strong masterfully creates cutting-edge and engaging ways to do business as he has shown in the creation of his first startup –which he helped led to have over 300 clients– and now with his new business, Strong Fiber Systems, which in just one year already has over 60 clients and growing.

With his finger on the pulse of social media, Scott consults and designs first-rate strategic and memorable content, specializing in breaking through the noise of traditional engagement with a focus on sports, music, and pop culture. Scott currently is consulting for the Sonics Legends Fund and a new hyper-local, NBA-focused social media partnership.

Scott is Owner of Strong Fiber Systems and runs @offthescotty marketing consulting and event photography, having worked events for Wright Way 50 Foundation and Friends of Waterfront - Seattle.

Scott is a born-and-raised Seattleite who started his love of sports bonding over the Seattle Supersonics with his father, Dwight.

Christopher Watkins - Founder

Christopher Watkins specializes in business development partnerships and leading new businesses to build creative and self-owned marketing campaigns that gives voices to brands and engages a strong audience.

Starting with his first job at 12 years old with the Seattle Supersonics summer basketball camps and parents dedicated to public service, Chris learned the importance of community and finding unique ways to empower and assist disadvantaged youth. He then worked 12 years with the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County as a Program Director and then as I.T. Communications Director. His favorite work was with The Tulalip Tribes and Lummi Nation as the Tribal Fundraising Director for their respective Clubs.

For the past five years, Chris has run Team Watkins Consulting, which was started by his father, David Watkins, over 30 years ago. Current clients include the Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce, The Hall Group, and the MarketPlace @ Factoria.

Born in Seattle, Chris now lives in Bellevue with his son Aslan and their pets, Nokia & Lion-O.

Linda Spain - Consultant

Linda Spain - Consultant

Linda has been the lead director of multiple, high-profile and large-scale fundraising events, and as the owner of Linda Perla Consulting, Linda brings extensive leadership and nonprofit expertise to her current role supporting the fundraising efforts work of FWRD7. Through her consulting work, she has provided strategic planning, facilitation, board training, and fundraising guidance to clients such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, the Washington Indian Gaming Association (WIGA), and the Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce.

She is the retired Executive Director of the Seattle Neighborhood Group, where she focused on crime prevention and community building, particularly for immigrant and underserved populations. Linda also previously led the Boys & Girls Club of Thurston County and the Olympia Symphony Orchestra as Executive Director.

Her current service includes board membership at Treehouse, a statewide organization supporting youth impacted by foster care, and advisory roles with the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. She has also served on the boards of Seattle University’s Department of Criminology, the University of Washington Women’s Center, Parkpoint Condominiums, and the Junior League of Seattle.

A native Seattleite, she attended local schools, and the University of Washington, majoring in Society & Justice.
